I will be hosting an ‘open house’ at the flat on Sat 10th February 2024 @ 10am to offer any of Matt’s friends and colleagues an opportunity to drop in and pick out a memento.
If you have contacted me to reserve a specific item which is of significance to you then I will put this aside for you, otherwise all his remaining possessions will simply be gifted on a first come first serviced basis. After this opportunity for people to pick out mementos then I am planning on donating any remaining CDs, DVDs, books and articles of clothing to local charities.
If you can attend then please message me directly to confirm or ideally mark on the online memorial page - I have added a new box for this. Also please do aim to submit your remembrances for the memorial online by the end of Jan 2024 at the latest.

There is a security gate / door entry system – buzz the flat number (35).
Parking
There are usually a couple of spare visitor parking spots at the front of the block, and there is a single allocated spot for the flat at the back right-hand corner of the parking behind the block.
There are also normally a few spots available on Belgrave Road at a push.
Public Transport
Central Line – Leytonstone & Wanstead stations are around a 15-20min walk.
London Overground – Wanstead Park is around a 25min walk.
Elizabeth Line – Forest Gate is around a 30min walk.
